We start with a detailed plan that will show you what your house will look like.

The shell is made with beams of white pine. Depending on the insulation you need, you can choose a beam thickness of 4" or 6½". Each assembly is tightly fitted to block any air or water infiltration. Dovetailed corners provide the well-known waterproofing and sound construction of log houses.

The beams are solidly attached to each other by solid lag bolts spaced every four feet. Holes for electrical wiring and service boxes are drilled with precision directly at the factory. Two Etafoam insulating strips are installed between all beams to provide a tight fit and block any infiltration. Your house can also include exposed beams, joists or roof trusses.

The beams are stained at the factoryto prevent any discoloration, before they are sorted by type, carefully packaged to prevent any damage and set on skids for delivery. The wood beams, hardware and other elements are delivered to you with an easy-to-use assembly manual. Our Customer Service Department will provide you with all the technical support you may need throughout the construction process.
